First you should start from 12 star signs, their features and elements, categories. Then Planets and asteroids and their positions in natal chart and points. Then houses of chart, then to aspects and then transits of predictable astrology. It takes life time to learn astrology, when you learn something you notice how little you know.. Good luck and times with Astrology.
Well, it wouldn’t hurt to pick up a few books on astrology - I’m assuming your interest is in natal astrology, so definitely Joanna Woolfolk’s “The Only Astrology Book You’ll Ever Need” is a great place to start. The best thing I would suggest is just to start looking at charts and seeing the interpretations of different placements and aspects; just dig right in and you’ll be surprised how much you learn, and how quickly.
Start by knowing a few key things about yourself:
Birth place
Birth time
Birth day
Then buy a few books on astrology:
~The Only Astrology Book You’ll Ever Need (this one comes with a CD that can create natal charts for you- very helpful if you don’t have internet!)
~ Get a book on houses
~ Get a book on aspects
~ Darkside Astrology (it’s just for fun)
From there, it should be pretty self explanatory. If you should have a “weird” natal chart, give information and ask what it is. Ususally it’s just planets in retrograde or intercepted houses

the complete book of astrology is a good book if you can find it.. an idiots to astrology should be a good start all their books are good, they break everything down so it’s easier to understand, and do some online research after you have a little bit of knowledge some sites are BS. wiccan and pagen sites are really good. SOME astrology chat rooms are nice you can ask other people questions and get some real answers and feedback
