I believe that it’s possible. Free will is always at play, and we can be whoever we want to be. Some may say that you are going against your true nature…but I know that I have changed a lot over the years, and the new traits I take on seem to become apart of me. Remember though, the birth chart is more complex than just one Sun sign, so chances are there is already a lot of conflicting influences in your chart anyway. You may express traits of one sign more at times than others.
im not quite sure what youre talking about but this could possibly help you. your astrological sign is based off of what sign the sun was in on the day you were born. it changes slightly over time and the dates were taken about 100 years ago and now they are slightly off. im supposedly a capricron but the sun was actually in sagitarius on my birthday.
You mean choose your own personality? Deciding to be what you want to be? Instead of accepting that you are pre-programed just because of your date of birth? That is hard thing to do. You may have to question your blind beliefs.
No one has control of when they are born. Having free will make astrology totally pointless.
I’ve got to admit it!! Yes, u could persuade youself into being another one, it wont be like living another life or ur life will change, u aquire another sub-traits i guess, it’ll be the same till u forget about this matter!!
OK, I think I’ve got an answer but I want to make sure about what you’re EXACTLY asking about ..Do you mean acting like another star sign and by ” astrology” you mean ” astrological sign” ?

You can pretend to be anyone or anything you want.
Astrology is not real.
